Grey Bruce OPP Release Suspect Image After Series of Overnight Vehicle Thefts in Georgian Bluffs
Grey Bruce OPP have released a suspect image after a string of overnight thefts from unlocked vehicles near Grey Road 5 in Georgian Bluffs on May 24-25.

Grey Bruce OPP are asking for the public’s help identifying a suspect after a series of overnight thefts from vehicles in the Township of Georgian Bluffs on May 24 and 25, 2026.
Police say multiple unlocked vehicles were entered in the area of Grey Road 5 near Concession Road 3. Credit and debit cards, cash, and identification cards were the main items taken. The suspect then used the stolen cards at nearby businesses, according to police.
OPP have released an image of the suspect captured in connection with the incidents.
Police are reminding residents to lock their vehicles, remove valuables when possible, and keep any items that must remain inside out of sight. They describe the thefts as crimes of opportunity that simple precautions can prevent.
Residents in the affected area are asked to review home surveillance, doorbell camera, and dash camera footage from the overnight period for suspicious activity. OPP say even small details may help the investigation.
Police are also encouraging residents and businesses to register security cameras with CamSafe, a voluntary registry that lets officers identify potential video sources during investigations. Registration does not give police live access to cameras.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Grey County OPP at 1-888-310-1122. Tips can also be submitted anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or online at cstip.ca, where tipsters may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $2,000.
