Two Charged After Police Recover $43,000 in Property Stolen Across Grey County
Two Grey County residents have been arrested after OPP recovered stolen tools and a firearm linked to break-ins dating back to August 2025. An 18-year-old and 19-year-old face charges.
Two Grey County residents are facing multiple charges following a months-long investigation into break-ins and thefts across the region, with police recovering an estimated $43,000 in stolen property.
Grey Bruce Ontario Provincial Police say the investigation began in August 2025, after a series of break and enters targeting homes and businesses in Meaford, Grey Highlands, and Southgate Township.
That investigation led officers to two locations on March 24 — a business on Bell Circle in Dundalk and a building on the 7th Line in Meaford — where police say they uncovered a significant quantity of stolen goods.
Search Warrants Lead to Arrests, Seizures
Police first attended the Dundalk property in the early morning hours of March 24, where suspected stolen property was located. While officers were securing the scene, a suspect arrived at the business and was arrested.
Later that day, members of the Grey Bruce Community Street Crime Unit executed search warrants at both locations.
At the Dundalk site, officers seized power tools, chainsaws, and a .22 calibre semi-automatic rifle. At the Meaford property, additional stolen items were recovered, including power tools, chainsaws, and a welder.
Police say most of the recovered property has since been identified and returned to its rightful owners.
Charges Laid

Logan Campbell, 19, of Grey Highlands, has been charged with multiple firearm-related offences, as well as three counts of possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000.
He was held for a bail hearing on March 25 in Owen Sound and later released on a court order.
Logan Sapusak, 18, also of Grey Highlands, was arrested on March 26 and faces similar firearm-related charges, along with two counts of possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000.
He was scheduled to appear for a bail hearing on March 27 in Owen Sound.
None of the charges have been proven in court.
Investigation Ongoing
Police say the investigation remains ongoing and are asking anyone with information to contact Grey Bruce OPP or Crime Stoppers.
