Last week, Councilor Jon Farmer shared his experience and takeaways from the recent ROMA conference in Toronto. I asked Deputy Mayor Scott Greig to do the same, and he shared a bit of a different take.
Thank you to both elected representatives Farmer and Greig for participating. This month, we’ve received a good deal of feedback at Owen Sound Current about how helpful it is to learn more about the “why” behind where Council is focused.
We can all watch the meetings, but there’s very little opportunity for context or developing a real understanding of any given issue there. I find deeper dives from those involved helpful – and we hope you do, too.
