Community Poll: Emergency Services
For our part, The Owen Sound Current’s work continues on our Midterm Council Report.
We’re looking at how they’re doing through various lenses, one of those being electorate satisfaction with the decisions they’ve made and quality of services overall. Today, we’d like to know:
2024 Year in Review
As the year winds down, we’ll be highlighting some of the most thoughtful, interesting, and unique columns published this year. Some will make you think, some will offer perspectives you may not have considered, and some are just plain fun.
We’re bringing these selections out of the Owen Sound Current archive for your pre-holiday reading enjoyment. (Our articles and columns automatically archive four weeks after publication—but don’t forget, full subscribers always have unlimited access.)
A heartfelt thank you to our Founding & Sustaining Supporters, whose contributions fuel our writers’ fund and make it possible to share more stories and experiences from every corner of our community.
We’re looking forward to introducing you to some more local columnists in 2025, too. Stay tuned for that! Without further ado, we’ll kick things off with a walk down memory lane at a Bruce Peninsula cottage, courtesy of Jennifer Deeks:
