Woodworkers, Artists Invited to Join Wood Symposium 2026 in Owen Sound
A three-day woodworking symposium is coming to Owen Sound this October, with organizers now inviting speakers, vendors, and participants to get involved.

A remarkable celebration of wood will take place this October 16-18 in and around Owen Sound at Grey Roots Museum, Harmony Arts Centre, Grey Gallery, and Intersections Wood Collaborative.
With a full weekend of presentations, exhibitions, demonstrations, international speakers, vendor displays, evening programming, pre-and post hands-on workshops, and so much more, Wood Symposium 2026 will connect and inspire beginner to experienced woodworkers and woodturners.
Symposium sessions will cover specific techniques, design and form development, historical and contemporary perspectives, sustainable forestry and woodlot management, and more.
Woodworkers, artists, educators, arborists, and thought leaders are invited to submit proposals for Wood Symposium 2026 lectures, demonstrations, panel discussions, and workshops before April 30, 2026 at symposium@intersectionswoodcollaborative.org.
Organizations and vendors of woodworking and woodturning tools, wood species and specialty lumber, books and instructional materials, and more are invited to apply to Wood Symposium 2026 before April 30, 2026 to display and sell their products and services.
