Intersections Wood Collaborative to Celebrate Year-Long "Tree to Table" Project with Community Event
Intersections Wood Collaborative hosts a Tree to Table Celebration on March 6 in Owen Sound, marking the completion of a year-long community woodworking project and supporting CMHA Grey Bruce.

Intersections Wood Collaborative invites the community to a Tree to Table Celebration on Friday, March 6, at 5:00 PM at the Rumpus Room, Owen Sound. The event marks the completion of an ambitious year-long project that transformed raw lumber into two beautiful handcrafted tables.
Over the past year, members, volunteers, and instructors at Intersections have participated in every step of the woodworking process—from harvesting the lumber to the final finishing touches.
The project exemplifies the organization’s commitment to hands-on learning, community collaboration, and traditional craftsmanship.
One of the completed tables will be featured as a prize in Intersections’ upcoming raffle, while the second table will be presented as a gift to the Canadian Mental Health Association on March 6, strengthening the connection between creative community projects and mental health support.
The celebration will feature appetizers prepared by celebrated Chef Zach Keeshig, along with a cash bar. Attendees will have the opportunity to view the completed tables, learn about the building process, and connect with fellow community members.
