This weekend is looking packed with events. How do you even choose?

From SweetWater Music Festival in various venues to Ribfest at the Bayshore, the Cobble Beach Concours d’Elegance (and associated ‘Cars & Coffee’ downtown), the annual Terry Fox Run, the Georgian Bay Two-Spirit Powwow, and the Owen Sound Community Artists’ Studio Tour (OSCAST) Opening Reception happening at Grey Gallery, there’s something going on for every type of interest.

Public Notices

• Temporary Road Closures in River District for Cross-Street Banner Removal: Sections of 2nd Avenue East will be closed beginning at 6:30 a.m. on Wednesday, September 11th and Thursday, September 12th. (City of Owen Sound)

• The Corporate Services Committee meets on September 12 at 5:30 p.m. in City Hall Council Chambers. You can review the agenda online here.

• Saturday, September 14, is Household Hazardous Waste Day at the Public Works Facility (1900 20th Street East) from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
