There’s a council meeting this evening, and your elected representatives have a full agenda.

Among the items up for discussion or to be received for information tonight:

  • City staff will ask Council to approve a tax levy of $34,899,000 for 2024, a 2.58% increase for taxpayers.

  • Details of an agreement for Voyago to lease the Owen Sound Transit Terminal.

  • The City will receive $393,099 in 2024 from the provincial Court Security and Prisoner Transportation Program, 49.14% of the cost of these services.

  • Owen Sound is getting an online marriage application process by April, if approved by Council.
