On Friday, we asked readers how you feel about celebratory fireworks displays for Canada Day. You said:
With 75 respondents, over half (52%) said it’s time to stop the municipal fireworks display. Less than one-third (32%) support them, and 16% said they are conflicted about the practice continuing.

There’s one quick public notice from the City that will impact traffic in the downtown core today and tomorrow.
Sections of 2nd Avenue East will be closed between 6 a.m. and 10 a.m. on Monday, April 29, and Tuesday, April 30 to accommodate the installation of seasonal banners in the River District.
