The other day, a reader wrote in asking whether we have a date for the local Pride parade. We haven’t received any official announcements or updates regarding parade events in Owen Sound or across Grey-Bruce since then.

If you’re connected to the event, please know people are interested in supporting and becoming involved!

In the meantime, we’ve received a separate letter with other meaningful ways to connect with and support the LGBTQ2S+ community locally.

PFLAG Canada’s Owen Sound chapter is active year-round, offering peer support for individuals and families, along with public events planned for Pride Season. Here's a letter from Joan Beecroft, with more information on what PFLAG offers and how you can get involved.
