Harmony Centre Invites Residents to Shake Off Winter with a Community Laughter Workshop
Harmony Centre in Owen Sound promises "an afternoon of sheer joy" on Sunday, March 22, when they get people smiling, moving, and raising funds for the centre's new flooring.

Harmony Centre is turning up the fun with Laughter Unleashed, an uplifting community event designed to get people smiling, moving, and connecting — all while supporting an important cause.
Taking place Sunday, March 22 at 2:00 PM at Harmony Centre Owen Sound, this high-energy laughter workshop invites participants of all ages to experience the physical and emotional benefits of laughter in a welcoming, inclusive environment.
The event is pay-what-you-can, ensuring that everyone who wants to attend can do so, regardless of financial circumstances.
“Laughter is one of the most powerful and accessible tools we have for wellness,” says Kit Pineau, event organizer. “It reduces stress, boosts mood, and brings people together instantly. Laughter Unleashed is about creating a space where our community can let go, have fun, and leave feeling lighter than when they arrived.”
Beyond the smiles, the event serves a larger purpose. All proceeds from Laughter Unleashed will go directly toward Harmony Centre’s flooring campaign, a major project to replace flooring throughout the Centre’s 27,000-square-foot facility.
With hundreds of community users each week, updated flooring will help ensure the building remains safe, welcoming, and accessible for years to come.
