It looks like we have a pleasant fall weekend ahead, with a particularly warm Sunday afternoon in store. There’s no shortage of things happening, if you’d like to venture out… the Owen Sound Farmers Market is on Saturday morning,
You could catch some chamber music at the Historic Leith Church as part of SweetWater Music Festival on Friday night, then catch Rebecca & The Arcades at Heartwood Hall on Saturday.
You could get your art appraised at the TOM, take a woodworking class, help plant trees at the hospital, or enjoy a guided hike on the Bruce Trail — it’s all happening in and around Owen Sound.
I’m consistently amazed at the volume and variety of events in our listings. If anyone ever tells you, “There’s nothing to do in Owen Sound,” send them our way and we’ll set them straight.
