Earlier this week, we shared Grey and Bruce counties’ plan to discuss Grey Bruce Public Health governance, and our attempts to obtain a copy of the report used to justify the provincial takeover of the local board. We asked you:
Almost all — 97% — of the 250 respondents to our poll feel it’s important that the Ministry’s audit report is released.
It may be time to contact your provincial member of parliament, Paul Vickers, and make your wishes known. We will continue pursuing this information under the Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (MFIPPA) — a process now headed for adjudication.
