  • Notice: Temporary July 18 Road Closure of Sykes St. E. for Freedom of the City Event - Municipality of Meaford

  • The City of Owen Sound is advising residents and visitors to plan ahead for road and waterway disruptions this Sunday, July 20, 2025, as the Subaru Triathlon Series returns to the city, featuring both sprint and Olympic distance races.

  • Owen Sound City Council will hold a Special Council meeting on Monday, July 21, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at City Hall to discuss several matters in Closed Session.

  • The regular Council meeting also takes place Monday, at 5:30 p.m. On the agenda: the City Manager’s Monthly Update which, despite several requests, is not accessible in writing as part of the agenda; a request that City Council approve the transfer of three City-owned properties to the Owen Sound Housing Company for affordable housing; a report on potential interim uses for the Rice House, and a lot more.
