In a new letter to the editor, David McLeish is urging Owen Sound City Council to commission an independent audit of the Tom Thomson Art Gallery’s finances and attendance data.
He highlights concerns about transparency and calls for evidence-based budgeting to evaluate funding levels and the need for a proposed expansion — one we see taking incremental steps forward, despite a handful of Council members claiming it’s not happening.
McLeish argues that an independent review would address public concerns and help align the gallery’s operations with community priorities and fiscal responsibility. See what you think:
