International Quilting Day, a day to inspire, promote, and encourage all things quilt-related, is celebrated on the third Saturday in March each year. This year, to celebrate the day, Bluewater Quilters' Guild donated a baby quilt to the family of the first baby born on or closest to Saturday, March 15, 2025, at Bright Shores Health System, Owen Sound.

Now, if you’re expecting an April Fool’s joke this morning, sorry to disappoint. Generative AI, deep fakes, and widespread misinformation campaigns meant to sow discord and keep us divided are already rampant. It’s increasingly difficult for people to tell the difference between fact and fiction.

April Fool’s, once a fun springtime kid game, has become another day to get one over on unsuspecting audiences, and that’s not what we’re all about. So, at the risk of being no fun at all, let’s proceed with our regularly scheduled programming.
