Why Can't You Get a Taxi in Owen Sound?

As the city and county continue writing reports, Owen Sounders are left out in the cold with no way to reliably get from A to B.

My husband, Trevor, and I long used local taxis to get around town – for close to thirty years, in fact.

At least, we used to. As their availability has steadily declined, particularly over the last decade, we’ve had to come to terms with the fact that you simply cannot go out in Owen Sound and rely on taxis to get a ride home.
