West Grey Library: Giving – and Taking a Break!
The West Grey Library will close for a winter break after December 20, 2025, with branches reopening in early January. Residents are encouraged to support the Library through seasonal donations.
SUBMISSION
The West Grey Library is getting ready for a short winter’s nap! The last day of operations for 2025 will be Saturday, December 20th. The Library’s Durham Branch will open on Friday, January 2, 2026.
All branches will be open on Saturday, January 3rd. Neustadt patrons, please check first in case of renovation/weather delays.
The Library reminds the West Grey community that financial donations are always welcome; Giving Tuesday is a great reminder that holiday giving can be in the form of support for organizations valued by someone you care about.
The West Grey Library has been the recipient of this kind of generosity in honour of the season or to pay tribute to the memory of someone who valued the Library and its place in the community. Monetary gifts to the Library are acknowledged through a card notifying the honouree or family.
When you honour a loved one with a gift to the Library, the recipient or their family receives a card to inform them of your gift. Donations may be given in person at the Library, online through Canada Helps, or by mail at any Library branch. Tax receipts are available for gifts over $20.
