“We were a group of five who had reserved well in advance, but we were told the patio was off-limits because a wedding party was due to use it that afternoon. Thus, we looked longingly at the empty tables on a beautiful day for well over an hour and noticed that the chairs for the ceremony nearby remained empty.
Did the groom abscond? Did the bride dally with her preparations? And where were the guests who deprived us of what might be the last patio-perfect day of the summer?
Never mind. All of our party declared the food very good, and the service was attentive and friendly.”
