The Concours d’Elegance this past weekend is a fascinating study in “how different enthusiasts enthuse,” says Nicole Egan.

And it’s not all about nostalgia or aesthetics, she points out. In its first decade, the increasingly popular car show raised over $1.1 million for charities.

Though it came with bittersweet memories for her this year, Nicole shares her experience with readers in her latest column.
