Don’t you love a holiday Monday? We’re nearly halfway to the weekend again already. This time around, that means a comedy show at the Roxy, a Halloween drag and burlesque show at Heartwood, a fall book sale in Markdale, volunteer tree planting at the Owen Sound hospital, and a lot more.
We’ve gotten into the habit of updating our Events Listings each Wednesday, so please keep that timing in mind as you submit yours. Ideally, we need them at least a week ahead to ensure they’re included in our weekday briefs in the days leading up to your event.
We don’t have a place to “hang” posters, but welcome a short text description with the key details: Who, What, Where, When, price, etc. as well as a link to your information page elsewhere online.
You can now email that info directly to oscurrentevents@gmail.com — or respond to any of these emails, and I’ll eventually get it to the right place through the magic of email forwarding.
Media releases, photos, and letters to the editor are best submitted to owensoundcurrenteditor@gmail.com directly. Thank you for continuing to share what’s happening in your corner of the community!
