This year’s YMCA Peace Medal Ceremony happens today at 12 PM in the Program Rooms at 700 10^th Street East, Owen Sound.

Ellen Wallace, Communications & Fund Development Assistant for YMCA of Owen Sound and Grey Bruce, shared with us on Tuesday that this year’s recipient received multiple nominations and is the local Y’s first posthumous award.

I look forward to confirming who this most deserving peacemaker is tomorrow after the ceremony.
