Following a false start earlier this month, the City of Owen Sound announced on July 16 that its 2025 Operating Budget Public Engagement is now underway.
The City promises, “There are several ongoing ways for residents to be involved in informing City decisions on service delivery and ensuring that the budget reflects the needs and priorities of our citizens,” and offers the 2025 Budget Engagement OurCity webpage as one of those methods.
There were a lot of promises made about public engagement after the last budget cycle. Let’s see how they did.
