Heather Little inspired many in our community as the driving force of the #HeatherStrong campaign for the Owen Sound Hospital Oncology Unit.
According to Brightshores Health System, Heather’s campaign raised more than $85,000 in support of local oncology care.
Sadly, Heather lost her own battle with cancer on December 1st.
Her friend Kitty writes on Heather’s blog:
“This won’t likely surprise you, but Heather prepared detailed instructions for us that were followed by a message she wanted shared far and wide. I have the privilege of sharing these words with you today. Get your tissues ready…”
From the small of her heart, here is Heather’s message. (If you cannot access the link, the URL is https://theheatherlittle.wordpress.com/2023/12/04/from-the-small-of-her-heart/).
You can donate to the #HeatherStrong campaign on the Owen Sound Regional Hospital Foundation (Brightshores) website.
