Letter: 3 Things to Change the Status Quo in Owen Sound
Submitted by Jim Hutton. In a recent Letter to the Editor, Anne Dondertman wrote about our declining downtown core and asked Owen Sound residents to think about their role in the decline of our city. Here are my thoughts on this subject and my ideas on how we can turn things around.
In local news updates, we have coverage of a fire and death investigation, charges for a local man after a knife attack downtown, an urgent plea for foster homes, and more.
For local events, you have your choice of open mic night, drawing classes, charity golf, an iconic craft show, bike rides and even a local performance by the Estonian National Radio Mixed Choir. Phew! Summer is here, take it all in.
