Today’s edition is heavy on council news and public notices, so grab your morning beverage of choice and let’s jump right in.

First up: Owen Sound Council approved substantial changes to the Procedural Bylaw that directly impacts how and when members of the public may voice their concerns or questions – and whether they’ll become part of the public record.

Going forward, when members of the public come to Council or a Committee to ask questions or share a concern, they may speak for a maximum of three minutes each. The new time limit for all speakers combined is 15 minutes per meeting.
