Workers prepare in Owen Sound harbour for a borehole drilling project taking place within the marine exclusion zone offshore of the Department of National Defence 4th Canadian Training Base, north of Meaford. According to the Government of Canada, WSP Canada Inc., Walker Drilling Ltd. and McKeil Marine have been retained by TransCanada Energy Ltd. (TCE) to complete the drilling as part of a 2025 investigation program. The work will extend through August and into September. Learn more here.
