Thurs Jan 11: Popular Art Business Closing for Good; Harrison Park Public Survey Results
Plus: 72% of Owen Sound Current readers are adapting gardening and landscaping practices due to climate change
I listened to True Crime Garage Ep. 728: Sharif Rahman with (many) mixed feelings the other night.
Perhaps it was foolish to hope there might be some major breakthrough delivered via a couple of podcasters from south of the border. But that hope was there, and so it was followed up with a tinge of disappointment.
More than that, though, I’m grateful they covered the investigation and shared it with their network. The hosts, Nic and The Captain, did their homework and shared the key facts of Sharif’s case with a much larger audience than local media alone can reach.
And now we’re back to hoping for meaningful updates and 🤞🏽 arrests as soon as possible.
On another hopeful note, we asked you on Tuesday:
Seventy-two percent of you are adapting your gardening and landscaping practices to be more environmentally friendly, and another 18% are planning and learning.
That’s a great effort – kudos!
