Earlier this week, we asked readers which issues mattered most to you in this upcoming municipal election.
Taxes and affordability are on the minds of most respondents, with 38% identifying this as their top concern.
Housing and development came second (31%), with policing and safety also registering as most concerning to 16%. Thirteen percent chose roads and infrastructure and just 2% are most focused on Owen Sound’s recreation and community services.
A reader also wrote in that climate change is the top local issue for them.
