The Celtic Tenors Bring Holiday Tour to Meaford Hall This December
Irish trio The Celtic Tenors will perform at Meaford Hall Arts and Cultural Centre on December 12 as part of their 2025 Canadian tour.
Meaford audiences can look forward to an evening of Celtic harmonies and holiday favourites when The Celtic Tenors bring their 2025 Canadian Holiday Tour to Meaford Hall Arts and Cultural Centre on Friday, December 12.
The internationally acclaimed Irish trio—Matthew Gilsenan, Daryl Simpson, and George Hutton—combine Celtic tradition with seasonal classics and contemporary songs. Their concerts are known for their musical precision, humour, and an easy rapport with audiences that makes each performance feel both polished and personal.
The Meaford concert is part of a 13-date Canadian tour running from November 27 to December 17. The tour opens at the Bell Performing Arts Centre in Surrey, British Columbia, and concludes at the Orillia Opera House in Ontario.
Stops along the way include Nanaimo, Sidney, Kelowna, Calgary, Winnipeg, Montreal, Ottawa, Belleville, Brantford, Meaford, St. John’s, and Oshawa.
Formed in Ireland, The Celtic Tenors have sold more than a million albums worldwide and built an international reputation for their distinctive mix of classical and Celtic influences.
Each member brings a unique background to the trio: founding member Matthew Gilsenan from Kells, County Meath, is known for his expressive voice and storytelling; Daryl Simpson from Omagh, Northern Ireland, contributes his operatic range and community work, for which he received the British Empire Medal; and George Hutton from Derry, Northern Ireland, adds a fresh dynamic shaped by his experience performing with Anúna and collaborating with artists such as Hozier and Phil Coulter.
Their Meaford performance will feature a blend of traditional Celtic songs, contemporary favourites, and holiday music, all delivered with the warmth and energy that have made The Celtic Tenors a popular act on international stages.
