Teen Killed, Three Injured in Head-On Collision on Highway 6 North of Mar
A 17-year-old from Markham has died and three others were injured after a head-on crash on Highway 6 in South Bruce Peninsula on August 8, 2025. OPP are seeking witnesses.
Ontario Provincial Police are investigating a fatal head-on collision on Highway 6 near Limberlost Road that claimed the life of a 17-year-old from Markham and left three others seriously injured.
The crash occurred on Friday, August 8, 2025, at approximately 5:30 p.m., when an SUV and another passenger vehicle collided head-on.
Four individuals were taken to hospital, where the teen was later pronounced deceased. The other three victims sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Emergency Medical Services, local fire crews, and an OPP Collision Reconstructionist attended the scene to assist with the response and investigation. Highway 6 was temporarily closed in the area as police gathered evidence.
Police have not released the name of the deceased, nor have they provided details on the identities of the injured, which vehicle each was travelling in, or the circumstances leading up to the collision.
