Stardust Solar Establishes National Distribution Hub in Owen Sound
Stardust Solar to open national distribution hub in Owen Sound under new partnership with B2B Solar Solutions, following its reverse takeover and TSX-V listing.

Stardust Solar Energy Inc. has entered into a partnership to open a distribution facility in Owen Sound, establishing a centralized location for warehousing and fulfillment of its renewable energy equipment in Canada.
The facility, located at 1800 17th Street East, is scheduled to begin operations in June 2025. It will store and distribute solar panels, battery storage systems, and electric vehicle supply equipment to franchise operators across the country.
The new facility is located in the former Tenneco building, which also houses Hydrogen Optimized Inc., a company that develops and manufactures large-scale clean hydrogen production systems.
The arrangement is part of a formal agreement between Stardust Solar and B2B Solar Solutions. Under the terms of the agreement, Stardust Solar will fund the inventory while B2B Solar Solutions will manage warehousing and logistics.
Profits above base distributor pricing will be shared equally between the two companies, according to a Stardust Solar media release.
Company representatives say the Owen Sound hub will function as Stardust Solar’s primary Canadian warehouse and complement existing infrastructure in the United States. The warehouse has been designed to handle up to 25 megawatts of solar photovoltaic products annually, with room for expansion.
According to the company, Canadian franchisees will be able to begin placing orders from the Owen Sound warehouse starting May 27, using Stardust’s existing procurement portal.
Stardust Solar currently operates in 93 franchise territories in North America and has indicated it aims to surpass 100 by the end of the year.
The company is based in British Columbia and licenses its brand and services to independent franchisees who install solar power systems, energy storage, and EV charging equipment. Its franchise support model includes business operations, marketing, engineering, and project coordination.
Rob Chaput, owner of B2B Solar Solutions, said in a statement that the agreement is intended to provide distribution support to franchise operators in Canada.
The launch of the Owen Sound distribution centre comes as Stardust Solar Energy Inc. completes a significant corporate milestone. In late 2024, the company went public on the TSX Venture Exchange through a reverse takeover of Bold Capital Enterprises Ltd., a publicly listed capital pool company.
Following the transaction, Stardust Solar began trading under the ticker symbol SUN in October 2024. The company’s leadership and business operations remained in place, with founder Mark Tadros assuming the role of Chief Executive Officer of the public entity. As part of the restructuring, Stardust consolidated its share base and raised additional capital through a combination of loans and private placements.
While the company is headquartered in British Columbia, the new Owen Sound facility marks one of its first significant operational investments since becoming publicly traded.
No specific job creation figures or capital investment details related to the Owen Sound facility have been disclosed. Deliveries from the warehouse are expected to begin ahead of the summer installation season, a peak period for solar activity.
