South Bruce OPP Lay Charges in Two Intimate Partner Violence Cases
Police have charged two individuals with assault in separate intimate partner violence incidents in Arran-Elderslie and Kincardine.
The South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged two individuals in separate intimate partner violence incidents in Arran-Elderslie and Kincardine.
On February 2, 2025, officers responded to a reported dispute inside a residence in Arran-Elderslie.
Following an investigation, a 41-year-old individual was charged with four counts of assault under Section 266 of the Criminal Code.
The accused is scheduled to appear in Walkerton Court of Justice on March 5, 2025.
On February 3, 2025, police investigated a similar incident in Kincardine, where a dispute inside a residence also resulted in an assault.
A 53-year-old individual has been charged with one count of assault and is set to appear in Walkerton Court of Justice on March 12, 2025.
