Search for Missing Northern Bruce Peninsula Woman Ends Tragically, OPP Confirm
An 87-year-old missing woman has been found deceased, Grey Bruce OPP confirm. Police say foul play is not suspected.

An 87-year-old woman who had been reported missing in Northern Bruce Peninsula has been found deceased, Ontario Provincial Police confirmed on Thursday, August 21.
Grey Bruce OPP said the woman was located with the assistance of several specialized units, including OPP Aviation, the OPP Marine Unit, the Canine Unit, the West Region Emergency Response Team, and the Neyaashiinigmiing Police Service.
Police emphasized that the death is not being treated as suspicious, and foul play is not suspected.
In a release, OPP thanked members of the public and media for their assistance during the search. They said that out of respect for the family, no further details will be provided.
