We’re excited to invite you to our next Run Where You Are: Say Yes! online event on February 24 (7PM), produced in collaboration with five other grassroots municipal campaign schools from across Ontario.
Following the success of last September’s Run Where You Are event, this evening will once again focus on real stories from women who have taken the leap into municipal politics.
We’ll hear from six currently elected municipal officials, each sharing how they made their decision to run for office, and what has changed in their lives since saying yes.
Hear what Alysson Storey, Joan John, Marilyn Crawford, Melanie Pilon, Michelle Boileau and Tammy Hwang have to say in their brief Power Talks.
Afterwards, stay for the interactive breakout rooms where participants can chat directly with panellists and connect with others who are exploring their own path into municipal leadership.
The event is free to attend, with donations welcomed to support this work.
Registration is required via Eventbrite: REGISTER HERE
Whether you’re thinking about running in this year’s municipal election, encouraging someone else to run, or simply curious about what municipal leadership really looks like, this event is for you.
We hope you’ll join us on February 24.
