Robbery Suspect Faces Multiple Charges in Saugeen First Nation
A 30-year-old man is facing several charges following an armed robbery at a business on Highway 21 in Saugeen First Nation.
On November 26, 2024, at approximately 1:48 p.m., Grey Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to reports of a robbery. According to police, the suspect entered the business, threatened the cashier with a weapon, and fled the scene. Officers located the individual a short distance away, and no injuries were reported.
James Farr, 30, of Saugeen First Nation, has been charged with:
Robbery using a firearm (restricted or prohibited)
Disguise with intent
Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose
Failure to comply with a release order
Failure to attend for fingerprints
The accused was held for a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in Walkerton.
