Public Asked to Weigh In on New Sauble Beach Brand Concepts
A public survey is now open as South Bruce Peninsula moves into Phase 2 of the Sauble Beach branding project.
The Town of South Bruce Peninsula is asking residents, businesses and visitors to help shape the future identity of Sauble Beach as it moves into the next phase of a rebranding and economic positioning project.
After gathering community feedback over the past two months, the town and its project team have developed three visual brand concepts for Sauble Beach, each designed to reflect themes and aspirations identified during the first phase of public engagement.
The concepts are part of the Sauble Beach Destination Marketing, Branding and Economic Positioning Strategy, a broader initiative aimed at defining the community’s identity and strengthening its appeal to visitors, investors, businesses and potential new residents.
Now, the town is inviting the public to review the concepts and provide feedback through a Phase 2 survey, which is open until May 25.
“We are grateful that the community showed up over the past two months to share their perspectives about Sauble Beach, the brand, and the future,” Mayor Jay Kirkland said in a release.
“This insight is what informed and inspired these three new brand concepts, which capture different sides of Sauble’s unique character. One of these will set the tone for placemaking, branding, and communications efforts going forward, so we encourage everyone to have their say and share what option they think best reflects who we are.”

Town staff say the survey is intended to test whether the story behind each concept comes through clearly and to gauge which option resonates most strongly with the community.
“This project has always been about reflecting the community’s identity and values as we define Sauble Beach’s economic position and what draws visitors, investors, new businesses, and new residents,” said Danielle Edwards, the town’s manager of economic development and communications.
“Meaningful engagement helped to unearth what differentiates this community, and we’re excited to now hear from locals about what this looks like in practice, from a visual brand perspective.”
The results of the survey will help determine the final branding direction for Sauble Beach.
More information about the project, including updates and results from Phase 1 engagement activities, is available through the town’s OpenMic engagement platform and the Town of South Bruce Peninsula’s Facebook page.
The Phase 2 survey remains open until May 25. Public feedback will help inform the final Sauble Beach branding and marketing strategy.
