Province Hosting In-Person Sessions on Grant Funding Across Western Ontario
Municipalities, local businesses and others are invited to provincial funding information sessions being held across Western Ontario. The closest to Owen Sound is in Midhurst on December 2.
The Ontario government is holding a series of in-person sessions across Western Ontario to help municipalities, nonprofits, and small businesses understand how to access provincial funding.
The Fall Funders Forum Series begins November 25 and will feature presentations from several ministries covering economic development, rural affairs, agriculture, tourism, labour, and innovation funding. The focus is on explaining what programs are available, who is eligible, and how to apply.
The nearest session to Owen Sound will be held in Midhurst on Tuesday, December 2 — about a 90-minute drive from the city.
The province says these forums are intended to provide clear, practical information and give attendees the chance to ask ministry staff questions directly. Sessions are in-person only and require registration.
Session Schedule:
Tuesday, November 25 – Blyth
Thursday, November 27 – Paris
Thursday, November 27 – Tillsonburg
Tuesday, December 2 – Midhurst (closest to Owen Sound)
Thursday, December 4 – Sarnia
Thursday, December 4 – Komoka
