Police Seek Suspect After Fail-to-Remain Collision in Downtown Owen Sound
Police ask for tips after reporting that an older woman involved in an October 10 collision near 10th St. E. and 3rd Ave. E. fled the scene; no injuries are reported.

The Owen Sound Police Service is asking for the public’s help after a fail-to-remain collision late Friday morning in the city’s core.
Police say the crash happened Friday, October 10, 2025, just before 11:00 a.m. at 10th Street East and 3rd Avenue East. A pickup truck was heading east on 10th Street East when another vehicle turned left in front of it, causing a collision in the intersection.
The other driver stopped briefly, then left southbound on 3rd Avenue East and was last seen turning right and proceeding westbound on 9th Street East.
Police described the suspect as a female, 60–75 years old, with grey, medium-length hair, wearing glasses. The vehicle is believed to be a charcoal-grey Honda CR-V, 5–10 years old, with visible damage to the front passenger side.
The pickup sustained moderate front-end damage. The driver of that vehicle was not injured.
