Paisley Concert Choir's Winter 2024 Concert Events: Silent Nights & Joyful Lights
The Paisley Concert Choir invites you to join us as we sing of Silent Nights and Joyful Lights in Hanover, Owen Sound, and Paisley.
Submitted by Carolyn Walker for the Paisley Concert Choir
While we’ve all enjoyed these balmy fall days, with the return of frost on the ground and the turning pages of the calendar, it’s natural to turn our thoughts to the upcoming holiday season!Â
Looking for something to help put you in the mood for the festive season? The Paisley Concert Choir invites you to join us as we sing of Silent Nights and Joyful Lights; sharing an uplifting and entertaining mix of songs of the season including some time-honoured Christmas favourites.Â
Under the direction of Linda Finlay and accompanied by Jane Siegel, the ever-popular interludes return to the stage with members of the choir performing some of their favourites, either as solos or within smaller ensembles. Carol-singing with the audience will round out the program.
From the tranquility of Silent Night to the cheerful Must Be Santa, there’s something for everyone. Tap your toes and hum along as we welcome the Christmas season!
Mark your calendar for concerts taking place on Friday, November 22nd at 7:30 p.m. at St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church in Hanover, Saturday, November 23rd at 2:00 p.m. at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church in Owen Sound, and Sunday, November 24th at 7:30 p.m. at the Knox United Church in Paisley.Â
Tickets are available from choir members, or at the door before each concert.  Tickets are $20. Children and youth 18 years of age and younger are free of charge.Â
The choir is also pleased to be returning to the Grey Roots Museum to carol at their Moreston By Candlelight event on Saturday December 14th.Â
