Owen Sound Little Theatre Presents 7 Stories - One man. One ledge. Seven stories to tell.
Come out to the theatre and enjoy Owen Sound Little Theatre’s final production of the season, the fast-paced, dark comedy play 7 Stories. This quick-witted satire opens June 12, 2025, and guarantees an unforgettable night at the theatre.
Directed by Gerrard Morrison, a new director to OSLT, this play takes place on a seventh-story ledge, where a man is contemplating life and struggling to find meaning in his existence.
“The Man” is endlessly interrupted by a variety of quirky people, and reluctantly becomes drawn into the absurdity of their lives. These “neighbours” are so self-absorbed that they don’t even bother to ask why he’s out there in the first place.
With a runtime of 90 minutes and no intermission, audiences can look forward to an engaging, uninterrupted experience that keeps the energy high and the story moving.
“Theatre of the Absurd has always intrigued me and I am often drawn to the puzzle of life and what I don't understand. The characters are diverse, unique, troubled, self-absorbed, lost, quirky, and so much more. The set is deliberately disjointed as though each window is a portal that is a clue to the inner workings of the mind.”
- Gerrard Morrison, Director of 7 Stories
The production runs June 12-14 and 18-21, 2025, at 7:30 pm and June 15 at 2 pm.
Tickets can be purchased in person at our box office, online at www.roxytheatre.ca, or by calling 519-371-2833.
