Highlights:
Council has been asked to approve the 2024 River District Budget, with a doubling of salary and benefits for Marketing and 37% of the budget allocated to pay the City for parking.
The Manager of Corporate Services is recommending that council approve a traffic signal maintenance contract valued at $63,688.94 in year one of the three-year term.
New business license approvals include another vape store, a golf simulator lounge, and a transportation service for senior residents.
Another bylaw asks the Mayor and Council to approve the Financial Incentive Program Agreement with Barry’s Construction and Insulation Ltd. respecting a façade and structural improvement grant.
Council is being asked to approve a bylaw to adopt the City’s new ‘Community Engagement Policy.’
