One Dead and Three Injured in Crash Near Wiarton
Grey Bruce OPP, South Bruce Peninsula Fire Department, and the Grey County Paramedic Services responded to the report of a serious crash on Concession 21 at 2:28 p.m. on September 3, 2024.
A 69-year-old from Neyaashiinigmiing suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at a local hospital after a single-vehicle accident near Wiarton on Tuesday afternoon.
Grey Bruce OPP report that three other occupants of the vehicle were transported to local hospitals for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
OPP, South Bruce Peninsula Fire Department, and the Grey County Paramedic Services responded to the report of a serious crash on Concession 21 at 2:28 p.m. on September 3.
Concession 21 was closed between Zion Church Road and Sideroad 20 and has now reopened.
The identity of the victims will not be released to protect the privacy of the family.
Grey Bruce OPP, assisted by the OPP Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement (TIME) team, are investigating this collision. Anyone with relevant information is asked to call investigators at 1-888-310-1122.
