It was a most productive City Council meeting last night, despite Monday’s meeting being on the shorter end of the spectrum and wrapping before 8 p.m.
Council rejected staff recommendations to exclude Owen Sound from Grey County's Centralized Planning Model, asking for a more focused report. They also voted to eliminate the Committee application scoring tool and chose not to appoint a member to a Crime Prevention subcommittee.
Plus, a staff report on reducing Council members on the River District Board is coming at the next meeting.
