With all of the chaos and noise dominating the news cycle, I think we need a heaping dose of local love this morning.
In this letter, community member Lloyd Lewis shares a unique project between Intersections Wood Collaborative and NeighbourWoods North that is at once beautifying the city and creating a lasting legacy for local families.
If there’s one thing I’ve learned over this past year, it is that there’s a world of good happening right here under our noses. Curating and sharing the groundroots projects, events, and campaigns community members are bringing to life in Owen Sound has given me hope and inspiration.
And so, this feels especially fitting today:
“Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it's the only thing that ever has.”
~ Margaret Mead
