City Council Highlights: Traffic & Speed Limit Updates, Enhanced Voting Access & More

Owen Sound Council approved updates to the city’s Traffic By-law, a new grant eligibility policy, expanded transit fare options, and authorized internet and telephone voting for 2026, among other key decisions on November 4, 2024.

  • The Tom Thomson Art Gallery Advisory Committee meets on Wednesday, November 6, at 2 p.m. in Council Chambers at City Hall. The agenda includes a 2025 budget presentation and updates from the Director and fundraising team.

  • The City of Owen Sound’s Community Open House is on Thursday, November 7, from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Bayshore Community Centre. This event is a come-and-go evening for residents to engage directly with city staff.
