Welcome back and happy Monday, Readers.
We should all breathe a little easier this week, with the wildfire smoke cleared out and temperatures back into a more comfortable range.
On the events front, this week brings a variety of hikes with local chapters of the Bruce Trail Club, a poutine feast, a reggae music festival, the 15th Marine Heritage Festival, indoor and outdoor concerts throughout Grey and Bruce, and a lot more.
In local governance, councils in Meaford, South Bruce Peninsula, and Kincardine meet this week, as well as the upper-tier Grey County Council. Several committee meetings are also taking place, including the City of Owen Sound’s Community Services Committee and Meaford’s Accessibility Advisory Committee.
You’ll find a small sampling of what’s happening at the end of each daily brief, and our full listings on the website.
