Happy Monday and welcome back, Readers.
We start things off with a Letter to the Editor today that discusses a long-standing issue in both Owen Sound and Georgian Bluffs: sidewalks.
Or more precisely, the lack of them.
Rev. Harry Huff writes about decades of municipal inaction on pedestrian infrastructure—even near schools and the hospital—and asks why sidewalks remain such a low priority in city and township budgets.
Meanwhile, another kind of infrastructure—governance—calls for scrutiny here in Owen Sound.

It’s invite-only, media access has been restricted in ways we’re not comfortable being asked to accept, and we can only hope business owners aren’t lost in the shuffle as the scope of the meeting—and the invite list—broadens.
