Mon Jan 8: Artist Patti Waterfield Launches Peace Dolls Fundraiser

Local artist Patti Waterfield feels the conflict in Gaza taking an emotional toll. Though feeling angry and helpless, she writes, she refuses to be voiceless.
Late in December, she began designing and creating hand-drawn paper dolls in watercolour, ink, and pencil as an offering of peace, friendship, and community.
As of January 4, she had created over 75 dolls and raised $400 to support Doctors Without Borders relief efforts in Gaza.
