Thank you to Tracey Richardson for capturing a shot of the Canada 911 Ride Foundation’s stop in Owen Sound. The organization’s annual police-escorted motorcycle ride is the only one of its kind in Canada, and made a stop on Owen Sound’s east side this past weekend.
The group rides to honor the memories of fallen emergency first responders (police, fire, and EMS) who have courageously given their lives in the line of duty, and to raise funds for related causes.
Since its launch in 2006, the Canada 911 Ride has raised over a million dollars for Families of Fallen Emergency Service Workers (police, fire, EMS), Victims of Crime, and The Mikey Network.
